The objective of a resume is to get called for an interview, and represent you when you are not there to defend yourself. Competition for jobs is fierce and the resume is your primary marketing tool.

As marketers, we develop marketing materials and write in ways intended to generate interest, focus interest and differentiate clients from the competition. Resumes are no exception, and need to be written as a marketing tool.
